With "Zorba’s Dance", Mikis Theodorakis created the melody that seems to embody the Greek musical tradition from antiquity to the present and today as Syrtaki represents the epitome of popular Greek music worldwide. Lowell Liebermann has now created a virtuoso and at the same time effective arrangement for two pianos, which is ideally suited both as a concert piece and as an encore piece.
