These duets can be played by 2 alto or 2 tenor saxophones.
These nine duets seek to develop imitative musicianship with the use of canon and simple contrapuntal techniques. Whilst the music is straightforward enough, try to balance the dynamic contours and listen out for each other's phrase shaping. My students and I swap parts now and then in the spirit of democracy!
