This arrangement combines these 2 familiar Christmas songs in a unique way. The piece begins with Carol of the Bells which becomes a rhythmic ostinato throught the arrangement. The two songs are alternated throughout the piece, as well as juxtaposed, utilizing additional counter melodies to add interest. The melodies travel thoughout each of the instrumental parts transforming the texture and enhancing the joyous nature of this arrangement.
