Daniel Scott's arrangement of the Walking in the Air really works. The melody is pitched perfectly over a sensitive piano accompaniment preserving its poignant character and allowing the flute to highlight the beautiful phrasing of the original. This is a perfect addition to a seasonal concert and will work a treat played at family get-togethers. A Christmas must have!
