Vocalise is the last of Rachmaninov's Fourteen Songs Op. 34. The original wordless song is set here for Wind Quintet, with the soaring tune shared between the Flute, Oboe and A Clarinet, and the accompaniment making the most of the luscious chromatic harmonies.
