These two Intermezzi were written in 1886, and are here arranged for flute trio. The first is a miniature composition in a melancholy mood, whilst the second is a more extended composition in a lighter style. These two pieces are perfect examples of Victorian chamber music, and would make lovely additions to any flautist’s music library.
