Two famously big choruses from Verdi operas arranged for flute and guitar? It seems a little optimistic but both work suprisingly well. Zingarelle from Traviata is the easier of two with the flute melody over a basic chordal accompaniment. The result is gentler than you might expect but the rhythm helps maintain the character. The Anvil Chorus from Trovatore is more difficult, especially for the guitar which takes on the part of the orchestra! if nothing else it's an unusal way to get into Verdi and none the worse for that!
