“Tomasi at his best.”
If you like the music of Henri Tomasi you'll love this. His enigmatic style is very much the focus of these three pieces, with the 2nd movement, 'Cretoise' having a particularly languid feel. Bolivienne flows along in an easy 6/8, and the 3rd movement titled Sicilienne but marked giocoso Saltorello is a great way to end a trio. If you're up for a challenge then this will suit you nicely.
