Wilhelm Gabrielski was one of the most popular and prolific composers of the early nineteenth century . Gabrielski's style, like Kuhlau's, shows budding virtuosity in a classical context, and is a pleasure to play and hear. Opus 85 is a little easier than Opus 40.
