I am including this piece simply because it is one of my favourites. It works well on two flutes but the combination of flute and oboe is just perfect for the plaintive melody at the opening. Three further lovely movements follow - a sparkling Allegro, another moving Larghetto and a rousing Vivace. This edition has been edited by David Lasocki and is therefore impeccable.
