The Trio in C major is the first trio from a volume with a total of six trios for two flutes and basso continuo, published under the name "Sei trii per due flaute e basso continuo ". This first trio is also the only one that has been published so far. The musical text in this edition is based on a manuscript of the six trios (found in the library of the Milan Conservatory), which, however, is probably not an autograph.
