Three attractive new pieces for flute and piano by Phil Rawle. The first features a flowing melody over rapidly rippling piano arpeggios; the second has the feeling of a slow aria, whilst the third is a brisk and lively piece with a samba rhythm. The harmonies, particularly in the first movement feature touches of jazz and latin. Exciting new repertoire for intermediate to advanced players.
