“Unusual music for three flutes”
Renaissance music is not common currency for flute players so it's nice to have these three pieces arranged for flute trio. This book is a good introduction to antiphonal and contrapuntal textures without overstretching the technique. The Fantasia by John Bull is particularly effective but the Lupo pieces also work well. They also make for good sightreading.
Three Fantasias written by Renaissance Composers, arranged for three concert flutes. Aimed at players of grade 5-8 standard.
