Another superb recorder work by Alan Bullard, the composer of the ever popular Hat Box and Recipes albums. Written for tenor or descant recorder and piano, piece No. 2 'By River' is set on Grade 5 of the ABRSM Descant Recorder Syllabus from 2022.
Three short 'journeys' that are tuneful and great fun to play. They make an ideal and exciting concert item. Bullard's writing is idiomatic and smooth, and the piano part is well within the grasp of competent amateur pianists.
