Jean-Baptiste Loeillet (1680-1730) was a composer, harpsichordist and flautist of Flemish origin. These attractive pieces, selected from his two books of harpsichord suites, are typical of much Baroque keyboard music in their charm and tunefulness, and sound highly effective on the piano.
