Three tangos of medium difficulty evocative of the avenidas and barrios of South America. Melancholic, nostalgic, sultry and seductive, the tango was once dubbed a scandalous pastime, with its smile of hope, and lament of bitterness, set to the sob of the bandonion, but here transcribed for clarinet quintet.
