These two arrangements are notable for the inclusion of a part for contrabass flute. This is becoming more common now and it probably won't be long before every flute group has access to one. Don't be put off though as both of these pieces have alternative parts for string bass and even work on just C flutes. However there is no doubt that the extra depth of sound from the bass does make a difference and gives the arranger more scope. The format is solo flute with accompaniment, easy keys and straightforward writing, so it is all very approachable. The production quality is first-rate but so it should be at this price!
