Rachmaninoff left the two piano version of the three-movement Symphonic Dances unfinished at his death. It was published as he left it. Now a new edition, with the involvement of Rachmaninoff expert Robert Threlfall, tidies some of the inconsistencies, improving the look and feel of the music.
