These four quartets are an ideal way to introduce swing to younger players. Easy keys and uniformity of rhythm allow the freedom to explore the swing style and the accompanying CD features a really good jazz combo - great to listen to. Unusually each piece is recorded 6 times. In addition to the backing track and the performance there are 4 other versions each minus one of the parts. This makes it possible to use the material with just one person if necessary. I think this makes for pretty good value.
