The fantasy presents each of the three instrumentalists with rewarding solo tasks, but is also exciting when played together thanks to the sound of the often bitonal movement. The demands on the ability of the performers are quite high. Modern techniques such as flapping tongues or noise generation are not used. Interesting chamber music that appeals very much to both players and listeners.
