This is an unusual arrangement of Gershwin's lovely classic which has a jazz twist. After opening with a more upbeat statement of the tune than might be expected, the central section features improvisation. This can either be achieved by following the flute part which sounds as if you're making it up, or if you are more adventurous you can use the chord symbols to create your own version. Either way it works really well - Summertime plus!
