“A chance to shine!”
The flute part of this popular Suite is exactly as in the original, with the supporting instruments dividing up the accompaniment between them. These parts are mostly quite straightforward, especially in the slower movements so this is ideal for mixing players of varying standards. There are some challenging moments though, with off-beats in the Ostinato and fast tonguing in the Rondeau. This is a great way of introducing new repertoire to the less experienced as well as keeping the more able happy. You could even have a different soloist for each movement to spread the glory!
A brand new arrangement of this permanently popular piece. The solo flute part is completely unchanged. Ranging from about grade 4 upwards, the flute choir parts are accessible and enjoyable, giving a whole new aspect to this much loved concert work.
