This is another great book by Cecilia McDowall. All of these five pieces are lovely to play as they are constructed in easy keys and with a sensible note range, and each has a completely different character. From 'The Italian Connection' which is full of sunshine, to 'A Russian Encounter' with it's beautiful melody, and the laid-back style of 'Star Time', there is something for everyone to enjoy here. The simple fluttertonguing in 'One to One' imitates a phone. and the slow and stately 'Grounded' adds to the mix. Idea for those 'between exams' periods, this music will be forever useful!
These five original pieces could be 'soundtracks' for the films of your imagination. Musically challenging, each piece offers a different style and atmosphere to accompany the player on a visual journey.
