According to the press, the music of the virtuoso flutist, organist, composer and teacher Niels Peter Jensen showed pleasing and endearing inventiveness, his playing had bravura and did not 'aim for effect'. He 'wrote several pieces for the flute which are worthy of notice'.
Niels Peter Jensen was born in Copenhagen in 1802 and died there in 1846.
