“An absolute winner!”
This is a wonderful trio! It's very approachable, written in lush harmonies with an easy rhythmic base, all linked together by a flowing accompaniment. The central section is a slightly trickier and somehow this piece always plays a little harder than it looks. Any number of flutes can play it though so it's suitable for larger groups as well. All in all it's an absolute winner!
