He subsequently worked for eight years for the famous Hungarian woodwind specialist Rosé' in Budapest, setting up his own workshop in 2006 under the name Seder, specialising in the production of handmade wood headjoints.
These relative newcomers to our headjoint collection offer players a real alternative at an exceptional price. We suggest you give these headjoints a try.
“Since receiving my two new wooden Seder Head joints from Mate, I have enjoyed the very different ‘new voice’ from my wood flutes. Their design is both elegant and light, with excellent stability throughout all registers. As with all new wooden headjoints their ‘new voice’ develops as they are gently played in. The wooden head joints of Mate Szederkenyi are a serious breath of ‘fresh new air’ in the world of the wooden flute!” - Russell Gillespie, Freelance player and teacher, England
