Three contrasting movements: Fresh Away begins the journey; Nereus’ Realm in the Moonlight is gentle and kindly; Bound for the Rio Grande is based on the shanty with a good swing. Scored for piccolo, 3 C flutes, alto (with opt. C part), bass, and optional contrabass.
