“Scheherazade for Two Flutes and Piano”
This is a great way to get to know this wonderful orchestral showpiece. In the form of a whistle-stop tour round the highlights, the mystery and drama of the story are captured as much as is possible by this small group. The flutes play mainly with rhythmic unity and each are given some solo passages which will stretch technique. The piano holds it all together so it's ideal for two good players and a teacher. It's a concert winner too!
