“Such valuable chamber music!”
Loeillet writes such lovely music and this piece will delight all who play it. Originally for 2 flauti traversi and 2 blockflutes, it works very well on 4 C flutes. The Baroque style is very manageable here as the counterpoint is two parts rather than four. With the keyboard holding the ensemble together, the result is a great introduction to the music of the period. Highly recommended!
