Sometimes it’s really nice to play comforting music and Carla’s arrangement of a wonderfully tuneful Haydn string quartet will make you feel cossetted and loved! It’s that combination of flute, 2 altos and a bass – just like drinking hot chocolate! It also gives space for the first flute to sing out and the result is a beautifully structured work which will inevitably be a real crowd pleaser.
