Mateki is a small Japanese flute company, and they pride themselves on the high quality of their output. The same well trained, highly experienced people who build their top-of-the-line flute models handcraft all models of Mateki Flute. Mateki holds to the principles of hand-made craftsmanship combined with exacting standards.
This flute has been through our workshop prior to sale and has been adjusted as needed. It is in lovely condition throughout with a couple of incredibly minor cosmetic surface scratches.

Mateki were a boutique Japanese flute company with a small output of flutes of exceptional quality. Whether it was one of their top-line gold models or their intermediate silver-headed models, the same craftspeople worked on all models, meaning a wealth of experience and expertise went into every single flute. Sadly Mateki flutes are no longer produced, but they are excellent instruments still worthy of consideration.
