Dick Kattenberg is not a familiar name but this sparkling piece will certainly put him on the map. An expressive introduction leads into an ebullient Allegro Vivace which makes you want to get up and dance! Cascades of runs and rhythmic drive stop briefly to allow for a snippet of the opening to bring some respite before returning with ever increasing speed hurtling towards the virtuoso ending. This a treat to play - you'll love it!
