“Versatile!”
This is a really appealing work from the pen of Gary Schocker who writes skilfully and with care for the piccolo. Each of these movements has a completely different character. The first has a cheeky rhythm in a minor key and uses the full piccolo range. The second has an easy listening style with some twists, the third is wistful and calm and the last is short and sweet. Each would stand on its own too, making this a very versatile buy indeed!
