This is a brilliant arrangement of Perpetual Motion by Matt Johnson which uses the colours of all the instruments to great effect. The 'um-cha' of the piano is pitched perfectly with the piccolo providing extra colour. The two original solos for piccolo and first flute are intact. Play as fast as you dare, add a theatrical staggered departure from the stage to leave the pianist high and dry and you have a stunning encore!
A rollicking tune from Johann Strauss, Jr., sure to get stuck in your head. This piece is performed by the Vienna Philharmonic every New Year's Eve. The arrangement includes many piccolo and flute excerpts from the original work, and there is also an optional percussion part included if you want to add even more fun to the action!
