A challenging new piece from Vincenzo Sorrentino. Smaller forces are needed, but the syncopations are complex, and the time signatures change fluidly between simple and compound time creating some counting challenges. The instruments are used to form block chords that move in repeating riffs and ostinati while melodies scurry round them.
