A hypnotic 'classical meets jazz' trio for Bb Clarinet, Alto saxophone and Piano. Rippling semiquavers set the scene for the tranquil clarinet entry. A further strand of melody then intertwines via the saxophone. All instruments are featured as a soloist at some point, and the wind instruments are even required to blow solely air through at one point in order to imitate gently lapping waves over the piano accompaniment.
