“Elusive trio music for younger players”
These three aptly named Miniatures are elusive in harmony but straightforward in note range, key base (one flat throughout) and rhythm, making them ideal for introducing a slightly different style to younger players. Number 1, Allegro Moderato, flows along in a jaunty 3/4, and the second, Andante flows along with a pretty melody. The last Allgro Vivace is longer with articulation the skill to conveying its spirited character. Not everyone will like this kind of music but it’s inexpensive enough to be worth trying out.
