All three works presented here are lyrical, imaginative and capricious, even though each of the three composers presents unique solutions of his own. In a time when contemporary music is characterized by a kind of arbitrariness in the use of the musical material, performers are always fascinated and pleased to come across works which are ingenious and make highly sensible use of tones.
