Four traditional dances are presented in this entertaining work for three flutes and bass flute or alternatively two flutes, alto flute and bassoon: a polka, polonaise, pavane and a waltz. The characteristic features of the different dances are shown in a new way without however forgoing the distinctiveness of the dances.
