Büchner wrote 3 concert waltzes for flute and piano, all of them caught up in the romantic spirit of their time and easy on the ears, so that with the concert waltz op.21 we have a piece of music that will still delight every listener today.
The first print on which this new edition is based appeared in 1893 by Julius Heinrich Zimmermann in Leipzig.
