This is the fifth volume in the series of play-along recordings and books titled 'A New Approach to Jazz Improvisation'. Volume 5 contains seven songs written by myself and one by Dan Haerle. The songs are aimed at the intermediate level student. A working knowledge of scales and scales and chord is a suggested prerequisits for playing with this volume. Experience playing Volumes 1 & 2 would also prove helpful.
