Kate Cuzner writes really well for flutes and this charming piece is no exception. Simply put together from 3 basic rhythmic cells, the lilting melody will take you straight to the Caribbean. F major also works well at this level. This is a very accessible addition to the repertoire for ensembles for young students - do try it.
