This music is not meant to be programmatic or linear, i.e. set in a timeline. Rather it is a collection of sounds, free thoughts reflecting the emotions I felt contemplating the photograph and the suggested title. The original soundscape included the tuba on the lowest line. I envisioned a rounder sound, a complement to the French Horn. Depending on the available resources the work may be performed with the additional tuba or, in it's stead, the bass clarinet.
