Four strong piano chords open this charming piece which flows along effectively with a quirky melody over a simple accompaniment. The rise and fall of the flute line will encourage strong tone production across the instrument which also uses some 'mysterioso' articulation. It's lovely and works very well with Reverie and A Morning Walk.
