These beautiful operatic-style studies are based on the vocalises of the 19th century Italian tenor Marco Bordogni who composed them for use in his teaching at the Paris Conservatoire. The book starts with simple tunes in easier keys and the material then becomes more challenging. You can't help but play them expressively as the typical Italian opera aria leaps from every page. It is also good to know that trombonists use them as well.
Short, patterned, and melodic exercises for the beginning flutist. Fun to play.
