These four pieces grow on you. They are not immediate blockbuster type duets but their quirky nature is somehow appealing. Perhaps the titles (le café fine, la biere, le the-dansant? and l'aperatif) have something to do with it. They are challenging to play as well and I suggest you give them a try.
These pieces are designed as a diversion for teacher and pupil and present a variety of challenges for the fairly advanced student. They are primarily for enjoyment and are perfectly suitable for public performance.
