This is a lovely trio. 'Summer Search' is about memory and loss. It's peaceful, the easy changing metre giving the main theme a meandering feel before the movement becomes faster and more robust. 'The Farthest Hill' sparkles as it describes the view from a mountain. Each movement would stand alone so there are plenty of performance options and it's good to play too!
