“More tuneful Kummer”
Kummer's easy and elegant style is again evident in this lovely trio. As ever with this composer the tunes are shared out between the parts, making the performance equally challenging for everyone. The last movement here is the most difficult, with the need for good articulation and neat ensemble playing to make it sound effortles! Each of the movements would stand alone, but the fast slow fast format makes it ideal concert material. All Kummer trios and this is no exception.
