In my youth I often accompanied my sister, a flautist, on the piano. Over the years we played a wide variety of repertoire, and we always enjoyed ourselves – we didn’t give performances, we just played for fun. These Five Moods are inspired by memories of our youthful sibling music-making. The styles range from traditional waltzes to jazz/swing numbers, about grade 2-4 in standard.
