In The Eyes Of A Child was inspired by both Bill Evans' Peace Piece (which is itself based on Leonard Bernstein’s Some Other Time) and Erik Satie’s Three Gymnopedies. A lullaby in waltz time, the mood of any performance should be quiet, simple, tender and, above all innocent.
